Well, it's only week 2 of the Weight Watchers regime. Andrew & Geraldine have been with us, so it hasn't been all plain sailing, but better than most. Have indulged a little - chocolate pud last wednesday night at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen (our treat with the Wallbanks). And then a few odds and ends over the weekend - a glass of wine, a biscuit - the usual suspects. Am finding it quite odd not eating bread (which is almost entirely excluded on the Core eating plan), but get my weatabix every morning so it's not like there's no carbs. Enjoying all the beans, chick peas, etc in my salads too. I hope i'll be down closer to 75kgs in 3 1/2 weeks time when Andy gets here. And by the time I go to Simon's wedding at the end of Sept I want to be down to 70kgs or near as ! A bit of a push, but I think it can be done.
Only challenge at the moment is exercise. I'm just not doing enough of it. Must find a way!

77.9kgs Don't faint !
Yes, on Monday 2nd of July I went to a Weight Watchers meeting in Poplar for the first time. It looks good - the leader's interactive and seems to care (more than I can say for those birds who ran the one at Island Health). One of the ladies there has lost 3 stone already (= 20kgs) Pretty awesome huh ?
I started at 12stone 8lbs = 81.2kgs I guess that's the clothing included.
It was a pretty good week, except that I fell of the bicycle on Thurs night when Alan & Katy came to dinner. I had dessert - meringue & creme fraiche.
AND yesterday (sat) went to a lovely pub with Jax & Claudio and had burger and fries, and a taste of keith's dessert again.
Missing the carbs. Missing the glass of wine too.
Getting good at making salads with kidney beans / chick peas, cucumber, sweet corn, tomato, tuna, etc. and eating crisp bread. I hate Rivita - it's disgusting stuff.

79.5 kgs after 2 weeks of calamari & pizza in croatia
it could be much worse, but I am sitting in the same place I was a month ago [sigh]. Well, today we begin dieting in earnest because I MUST lose 5-8 kilos as fast as. My goals are the GAM summer party next Thursday, and then my brother's arrival in the second week of August. I plan to go to Weight-Watchers tonight, and stop eating too many carbs (like pizza & pasta & risotto), and enjoy fruit and veg more.
