Fat Betty is back on the boat... time to get slimming. I'm trying to crack the whip over myself as I have quite a bit of weight to lose after the birth of young Calvin. Tsk tsk... it really ISN'T the easiest thing to do because when I'm breast-feeding I have an enormous hunger for carbohydrates. Sugar and carbs are so tantalising! Thankfully my desire to drink water (by the gallon) has returned, so my system is getting flushed - which ain't a bad thing.
I am quite keen to eat more vegetarian main courses. This may just be an age thing, but I feel like my body is struggling, as I get older, to process red-meat dishes. I would happily eat fruit salad every single day - it's the manufacture and the purchasing that takes too much time.
Exercise-wise, all I want to do is go for a jolly good run, or do some squats, lunges, crunches. I really need to make the time - focus the will. Big minus of C-sections is the belly that you're left with... where do you put it ? It just hangs over my jeans and I feel like a statistic from out of town (fat girls who live on butty rolls, or similar).
So here's to all these good things, and may I hit it into the outfield !
