81.3kgs come on into the weight shed

I've had enough of the sad state of post mommy flab, and decided to take control. From here on out I am going to bust my butt and get back into shape. Thanks must go to the Almighty however, as the weather has taken a turn for the better, so my first morning of early jogging was not as hard as it could have been.

vital statistics (shortly to appear in the side bar...) as at 26.2.2008

chest : 109cm
waist : 88cm
hips : 118cm
arms : 35cm
thigh : 73cm

this neat little graph tracks my weight-loss in the lead up to our wedding / moving out of home / cooking my own dinner every night. I managed to keep to that weight for a year or so (until we moved to the UK, and I got my heathrow injection).
On closer analysis, I've noticed that I managed to shed all the weight in just 3,5 months but then I yo-yo'd quite a lot as I tried to find an equilibrium.

I'm not kidding myself, I don't think my body is going to quite so "elastic" ten years on, and it may take me a lot longer. On the upside however, I didn't do a whole loada exercise that time 'round. Keith and I had intended to play squash regularly at our gym (just 2 blocks away), but I don't think we went more than 5 times in that year. What a waste of money ! Shoulda bought some super-duper jogging shoes or a nice bike. {sigh} Oh well... that means that this time, with the running on my side, things should be much much better. It really is a lifestyle thing, so you have to just knuckle down and make the necessary changes.

I don't want to be bleak about my wardrobe of ill-fitting clothes any longer. I want results.
